Aula desta segunda-feira, 10 de março: The quick beige fox



Welcome to CCSP English Minute, a quick-and-easy way for Brazilian advertising professionals to improve their English in the lead up to (no período que antecede) Cannes Lions and the World Cup – both just months away!



These short classes will appear on the CCSP website three times a week. Advanced words and expressions will be highlighted in bold and translated to Portuguese. What’s more (além disso), a short audio recording will accompany each lesson, helping you to brush up (aprimorar) your language skills.



Ready to get started?



This first lesson is called “the quick beige fox” (a rápida raposa bege) and it aims to improve (tem como objetivo melhorar) your fluency in English. Listen to the audio recording at the link beside and repeat the following words out loud.

 

THE QUICK BEIGE FOX / DIDN’T JUMP IN THE AIR / OVER EACH THIN DOG / “LOOK OUT!” I SHOUT / FOR HE’S FOILED YOU AGAIN / CREATING CHAOS



What you see and hear doesn’t make sense (não faz sentido), so don’t worry about the meaning.

This sentence is special because it contains all the sounds in the English language. In other words, if you can say what’s written above, you can say anything!



Repeat the exercise as often as you like to improve your fluency.
