Love you, my girl

O grupo Inter-LGBT da França destaca a violência e a discriminação contra jovens transgêneros em novo filme (assista aqui), criado pela TBWA/Paris.

Protagonizado por um adolescente que fez a transição de menino para menina, a peça mostra a criança com um olho roxo, o pai gritando, depois ambos brigando. Em outra cena, o pai tranca a adolescente em um armário, segurando a porta enquanto ela se esforça para sair.

No entanto, o enredo guarda uma revelação. Uma das cenas mostra o pai consolando a filha depois que ela conta que sofreu bullying na escola. O pai abraça a criança chorando e promete ajudá-la a lidar com a vida: "It's going to be tough, but I will help you", ele diz. "Love you, my girl."

No final, a mensagem completa: "No parent should have to prepare their child to confront life, rather than just live it. 85% of trans people will be attacked during their lives."

O vídeo direciona os internautas para a plataforma digital supporttranspeople.com, que oferece recursos para ajudar a orientar os pais e parentes de jovens trans.
